There Are 2 Ways You Can Submit Your Voice.
Here Are The Details:
OPTION #1
RECORD YOUR VOICE USING YOUR PHONE AND ANOTHER DEVICE
- Listen to the mp3 below on ANOTHER device that is NOT your phone. This can be a friend’s phone, tablet, computer, laptop, or whatever you want…make sure to connect headphones to it. If you prefer to download the music, you can do that too. From your OWN phone, go to your video camera and hit “record”.
- Now that your phone is recording video, push play on the first device from Step #1 so you can hear the music in your headphones.
- Sing along with the music. We provided you with 2 full minutes of music so you can sing over and over again until you’re comfortable with your performance.
- Upload the video file using the submission form on this page. If you run into issues, you can also upload it to YouTube or any video service and email the link to us at band@pintoandthebeanmusic.com
OPTION #2
USING MORE ADVANCED RECORDING GEAR
If you have a good microphone or any experience recording music, you can use that if you like. The end result just has to be video of you singing. Simply follow the steps from Option #1 above, but use a microphone of your choice instead of your phone.
In this scenario, you’ll want to submit the video file and the audio file separately, since we’ll use your audio file for the final song recording.
VERY IMPORTANT
Make sure there are no other loud noises in the background while you record your vocal. We need your voice alone without any other distractions, so that we can add it to the song properly.
THE SOUND WE GRAB FROM THE VIDEO FILE WILL BE USED IN THE FINAL RECORDING OF THE SONG!
The video file you submit will be used for an official music video for the song, where everyone’s “selfie singing video footage” will be featured all at the same time on the screen.
THE END RESULT WILL BE A VIDEO FILE OF YOU SINGING THIS SECTION OF THE SONG!!!
AND WE WILL FEATURE IT IN THE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR THE SONG!
BUT I DON'T WANT MY FACE ON CAMERA!

HERE ARE SOME IDEAS OF
WHAT YOU CAN DO INSTEAD…
- Sing really close to the camera so it only records your mouth.
- Set the camera down and turn your back to the camera when you sing.
- Wear a silly mask while you sing.
- Any other crazy idea you can come up with! The crazier and weirder, the better!
If you can get friends and family to sing this part too, that would be AMAZING!
Just make sure everyone sings ONE PERSON AT A TIME.

Think of Queen and how they’ve got tons of people singing “We Will – We Will Rock You” over and over again. It’s sort of the same idea. Only this is a different song with a different vibe.

The world IS passing by, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. It’s amazing how quickly time passes by. You blink your eyes, and suddenly a whole year of your life has passed. We’re all going to be different people one day, and look back at previous versions of ourselves, and realize how much we’ve changed.
Unexpected shit will happen in life that we have no control over…life’s just a rollercoaster and we’ve got to hold on, through the good and the bad. And through it all, the world is just passing by, always and forever.
